What if I Have an Old Alarm System in my Home?
Our qualified technicians work with many types of alarm systems.  After a system check, your alarm specialist can advise you if your alarm is up to date and compatible with our requirements.  Existing alarms can be monitored monthly at a discounted rate.

How Long Does an Install Take?
Because of wireless technology the average install takes between 1-2 hours.

How Reliable is Wireless Security
Wireless technology has advanced tremendously in recent years.  Each wireless device has a unique bar code specifically programmed to your alarm panel providing theft proof security.  Your alarm system will let you know when you need to change any batteries (usually every 2-3 years).

Do I Need an Alarm Permit?
Many cities have local law ordinances requiring a homeowner to register their alarm with the city police force after installation.  Cities enact alarm permit laws to help pay for false alarm costs.  However, not all cities require alarm permits.  For more information on alarm permits in your area, contact your local city police department.

Do I need a phone line to have an alarm system?
Although most traditional alarm systems require a phone line to communicate with the alarm center, new technology allows an alarm system to communicate through a radio unit using cell towers instead of a traditional landline phone.  Contact us for more details.

Can I control my alarm remotely from my smart phone?

One of the newest innovations to modern alarm systems is the option to control your alarm with your smart phone or from any computer with internet access.  Not all alarm systems have this feature.  Call us to learn more or to see if your system is compatible for a free upgrade.

What if Someone Cuts the Power to my Home?
All of our systems come equipped with a back-up battery system to protect you in the event of a power loss.
